Would strongly urge anyone not given to reading, to at least read pp. 95 -- 97 of this book! Overall a good book by a sincerely-sounding and concerned former politician. Probably read various points before, but contains some highly memorable and intelligent quotes. Might quibble with the author on a few points [don't believe financier-backed President Eisenhower was sold out by Wall Street - - he supported them every way, it was under him that the lawsuit against the Wall Street 17 was quashed, begun under FDR]. Josiah Stamp said it all, but few will ever pay attention.
