Actually at the beginning it was slow and it took me a while to get into it, but it turned out to be quite good. Well written and with interesting characters from different walks of life and portrayed with some skill. I really enjoy Police novels if they have character with some depth - not just cardboard heroes. This is becoming ever so rare. People seem to be able to read novels with action and without people.
Enjoyed this one - I can recommend it as a pleasant read.

Loved this book... best book I've read in a long time. Exciting plot, interesting characters, suspenseful but not obvious as to how things would turn out !! Must read more of his stuff... this first one is a winner !
