It was really interesting to read about life in Mossflower primarily from characters who actually don't live in Redwall Abbey. I found this book to be a lot heavier on the realities of war and combat compared to other Redwall adventures. It was a unique perspective on this fantasy world that I appreciated! The hares were always my favorite of the Mossflower creatures, and this book reinforced to me how perilous they truly are. Eulalia!

Here is another good installment in the Redwall series, filled with zany characters and epic adventure. It's a good follow up to The Pearls of Lutra, since many of the same characters (Tansy, Arven, Cracklyn, Viola, etc.) play a role in the story. Readers also learn more about the titular group of soldiers known as the Long Patrol, as seen through the eyes of new recruit Tammo. Since this book portrays the realities and stresses of army life, it would be a good book for kids who have parents or other relatives in the service.

Another great installment in the series. The kind of book that's hard to put down, has great marching songs, and is all around enjoyable.

As usual, another wonderful title in the Redwall series. Once you pick the book up, it's extremely hard to put it down. Highly recommend this book and the entire series to readers looking for an intriguing adventure.

Another great addition to Brian Jacques's Redwall series.

I found this one particularly interesting as it is focused on the famed Long Patrol of Salamandrastrom and really shows what they're all about.

Full of action, bravery, camaraderie, friendship, and love of the furry animals of Mossflower you can't go wrong with this one!

This is one of my favorite Redwall books. Tammo, Midge Manycoats, and Russa Nodrey are some of my favorite characters in this book. If you haven't, READ this book!
