I read 30 Guys in 30 Days by Micol Ostow. First of all let me that I am a big fan of romantic comedies which is one of the many reasons why I chose this book. This book keeps you interested and always has you wondering what’s going to happen next. The title of the book really grabbed my attention because I was wondering how a girl dates 30 guys in 30 days, that’s one guy every day. The cover of the book was also very interesting because it was a girl surrounded by bunch of guys. The book is about Claudia Clarkson who broke up with her boyfriend of four years before going to college because college is a time to explore you’re options. The problem is Claudia has been in a relationship with her ex-boyfriend for so long that she’s completely forgotten how to meet boys and how to flirt. Her roommate who was a former beauty pageant winner suggested that she meet a new guy for thirty days until Mr. Perfect comes along. In my opinion I think the author could’ve developed the characters more even if it meant that the book would’ve been a little bit longer. I would recommend this to people who don’t really mind reading corny but amusing books. I would recommend this to children 1 4and up, it would be an amazing read for pre-teens and teenagers. I should warn you that this book contains a lot of drinking so just be careful when selecting this book for younger children.
