she's an excellent author and an excellent story teller - so engaging and unexpected and enchanting.

Joshilyn's voice is endearing both literally and audibly. I listened to this story of dysfunctional families to the nth power and found Beteewn, Georgia to be nightmarish and dreamy simultaneously. Nonny learns thoughtful lessons from a blind and deaf mother that aid her in becoming the shining light for both oddball families the Fretts and the Crabtrees.
