Great all around guide book however there are some errors in some of the heel patterns - if you're planning on using this book (and I do recommend it) you should take a minute to go download the PDF errata from the publisher's website (Maringale - if you search for the book there you should be able to find it) otherwise you could find yourself stuck. Other than that though it's a great guide to all kinds of ways to make socks
