This was a childhood favorite of mine: I actually saw it twice at the old Palace Theater in downtown Youngstown during Christmas 1963. Because my memories of the film were those of a five-year old's, I never understood why it had such a…

I had never heard of this movie during my childhood and therefore I doubt that I have ever seen it previously. It was interesting to see how Disney animation changed to a more action-packed and less traditionally sentimental style. Also…

The Sword in the Stone suffered for years in development, to the point that they had to get three different boys to run lines for Arthur/Wart, and you can clearly tell them apart. The animation varies between being okay and questionable,…

Interesting story about the young Arthur who would later be King Arthur. Watching this movie made me realize that this, among other Disney films, is not meant for kids because of some sensitive topics not yet fit for their age. Case in…

I very much enjoyed watching the Sword in the Stone. The story is creative, the characters are likeable, and the movie keeps you entertained throughout its entirety. I liked the incorporation of magic, along with Merlin, in this film. I…

A wholesome video, colorful and with a valuable story line. It's uplifting and encouraging, I laughed and actually watched it several times. You can never go wrong with a Disney movie.

Great Arthur story. This title doesn't have a princess's name so that boys who complain about watching "girl movies" can have a medieval story of their own.

Fun, animated movie for the kiddies with lots of great, off-beat characters, especially the Magnificent Marvelous Mad Madame Mim. Strange, though, that through most of the movie Merlin pushes knowledge, study & wisdom as the keys to…

It's cute if you like Sleeping Beauty-style animation. The only reservation I had about this movie was that there was absolutely no major conflict, just very minor stuff.

A very charming version of the King Arthur story. Don't be fooled by the animation - adults will enjoy this as much as children.
